General Information
Lydden Surgery is open from 08.00-18.30 Monday-Friday, except Bank Holidays. Please see below for details of our Thursday afternoon closures.
Out of hours
IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL PROBLEM WHEN THE PRACTICE IS CLOSED, NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS, WHICH IS NOT A 999 EMERGENCY PLEASE RING 111 AND YOU WILL BE PUT THROUGH TO THE NATIONAL HELPLINE.
Timetable
Pre-bookable telephone appointments are available as well as on-the-day urgent appointments. Please contact reception if you wish to book an appointment.
To ensure your safety our GPs and nurses only deal with one problem per consultation. To deal with more than one problem may cause a wrong diagnosis, wrong tests ordered, a failure to refer and will make the GP run late, which affects other patients.
Tell the GP all of your symptoms so that they can fully assess you and prioritise your treatment.
The GP may ask you to make a further appointment to discuss additional problems.
If the clinician feels that they need to see you face-to-face for a more thorough examination, they will invite you to attend the practice. If you do need to attend, we will take all necessary precautions to keep you safe. Please ensure that you wear a face covering when you come for your appointment and wash your hands on arrival before approaching the reception desk.
